How to post a story

Welcome to NailTeller

NailTeller is a place where anyone can share a real experience from the nail industry.

You might be a nail technician, salon owner, customer, student, family member, or someone who witnessed an interesting situation.

You do not need to be a professional writer. Simply describe what happened in your own words. NailTeller will guide you through the process.

The story posting process

Posting a story on NailTeller consists of nine simple steps.

Each step has its own detailed Help Center guide. When you need more information, open the guide for that specific step.

Step 1 — Choose your role

Select the role that best describes who you are in the story, such as a nail technician, salon owner, customer, or witness.

Read the dedicated role guide to learn what each available role means.

Step 2 — Choose your perspective

Choose how the story is being told. For example, you may be describing something that happened to you or something you witnessed.

The perspective guide explains every option and includes helpful examples.

Step 3 — Choose a story category

Select the category that best matches the main event in your story.

Categories help readers discover stories they are interested in. Read the category guide when you are unsure which one to choose.

Step 4 — Choose your location

Select the State and City where the main event happened.

This should be the story's location, not necessarily where you currently live. The location guide provides more information.

Step 5 — Choose a character name

Give the main person in your story a name so readers can easily follow what happened.

You may use a real name, nickname, or fictional name to protect someone's privacy. Read the character name guide for additional help.

Step 6 — Write your story details

This is where you describe what happened.

Do not worry about writing perfect English. You can enter simple notes, important events, or the full story in your own words. NailTeller's AI can help improve readability while preserving your original meaning.

Read the story details guide for writing tips and examples.

Step 7 — Upload photos

Photos are optional, but they can add context and help readers better understand your experience.

The photo guide explains how to upload images and protect other people's privacy.

Step 8 — Preview and publish

Review your story before tapping Publish.

Make sure the role, perspective, category, location, character name, story details, and photos are correct. The preview guide explains what to check before publishing.

Step 9 — After publishing

After you submit your story, it may be reviewed before appearing publicly on NailTeller.

The after-publishing guide explains the review process, story visibility, and how readers may engage with your story.
